Evelyn Stephan is a highly qualified and experienced voice teacher specialising in the training, audition coaching, and singing voice rehabilitation of professional and pre-professional performers.

Evelyn holds a Masters of Vocal Pedagogy (Distinction) which grounds her teaching in a thorough understanding of evidence-based voice science. She has also completed professional development in Manual Therapy for Voice Professionals with Annie Strauch of Performance Medicine, and has experience teaching singing in the university setting and beyond. This background allows her practice to sit at the intersection of voice science, bodywork, and artistry.

Evelyn works alongside aspiring and current tertiary singers and industry professionals who wish to build the sustainable, flexible and reliable instrument they need to become effective storytellers and confident performers. Evelyn’s students have gained entry to tertiary programs in musical theatre, opera, pop and jazz. Her students also regularly perform in professional musical theatre, opera, bands and corporate entertainment throughout Australia. This experience has afforded Evelyn a thorough understanding of the vocal, practical and performance demands required to be an industry-ready singer across multiple genres.
